Today in class we discussed the relationship between the ambient air pressure and a substances boiling point. Using this discussion, we transitioned into phase diagrams and how they visually represent the same concepts we have been discussing. As a class we labelled a phase, and began answers questions about a substance that is present at various temperatures and pressures. If students did not finish these questions in class, they need to do so for homework.
